Is this normal?
The rear sight of my XDSC 9mm is not perfectly centered. How bad will this affect my accuracy?

enough to piss you off. Had the same issue with mine after a half rate gunsmith installed night sights. I was about 3 inches off from center. Took it to a reputable gun smith paid him $30 and waited about 10 minutes and he had it perfect.

it makes absolutely no difference where the sights sit. shoot the gun and then decide if they need adjusted. maybe the previous owner had to adjust the sights because the guns shoots a little to the right. who cares where they sit as long as the bullets land where they are supposed to.

Your most likely going to want to have night sights installed so if you have the money you may as well get it done now. If not take it to someone who has a lot of experience with the XD sight system and let him get it right for you.Gilbert's Guns had an excellent deal going on TFO night sights and installation, and have your slide back in about a week and they do an excellent job and great people to do business with.

If you're brave and not worried about slight marks, use a brass punch to drive that slight over until it's centered.
