Question San Antonio Gun Shops

Can anyone recommend a GOOD gun shop in San Antonio, TX. I am thinking about having new sights put on my XD-9SC.

Check Dury's Gun Shop...(210) 533-5431
You can Google their website.

Their off Rt37 from Rt90. Exit onto Hot Wells, left at stop, on left. They put a 3.5 connector in my G17 while I waited and went the extra mile to get it really smooth too. Good people, excellant on hand stock. I'm buying my XD9 Tactical there tomorrow.

I've heard bad things about Nagels, but never been there personally. Most folks I meet use Durys. They have 3 full time gunsmiths.

Hope this helps.

Dury's is a good shop, they are always busy but they are good to deal with. Try to get the prices down if you can they are a little on the high side. You could also try A Place to Shoot on Moursund just outside of LP410. I've been to Nagels and the most I would buy from them is a flashlight they are not the friendliest bunch you'll ever meet.

Thanks for the information. Dury's is quite a drive (I live near Bulverde), but it sounds like the place to go.

Give Dury's a call and I'm sure they'll arrange to do your sights while you wait. One of the guys there is a certified Glock armourer and shoots Master class. Great guy. He was the one who reccommended my getting the Dawson Precision sights for my G17. Great advice, I love them. Check them out.

Try Ho Guns on Culebra.
Cedar Ridge Range on FM1863 which is just around the corner from you. Greg is the owner and gunsmith and has done work for me. Haven't had a problem with his work yet.

Huh? I live down here in Corpus Christi and go up there just for the visit to Dury's alone! It's worth the short drive! +1 on Cedar Ridge too. I've shot there a few times and the personnel are very friendly and polite.
