Super bright and solid... wouldn't have it any other way! TLR-2
![]() This is my home defence piece. As soon as I get an SA MC I will be moving the light on it.

Utg
I just now got a combo laser/tac light UTG on e-bay for $70 (includes shipping) for my XD-45 5". Pros: cheap, fits great, well-designed on-off-momentary switch, laser adjusts for vert and horizontal, tac light is bright, can get $15 pressure switch (not needed if you are a thumbs-foward shooter). Cons: sticks out beyond barrel, plastic lens, cheap o-rings.
All in all, quite satisfied. Rich |

Most people seem to give good reviews about TLR-2, Insight X2L, and Insight M6.
I think I'll be picking up the X2L just because I know it won't extend past the barrel on standard sized pistols, and it is one of the few that also fit Subcompacts too so I can swap it around without worry if I ever want to. I don't really need 90 kajillion lumens, just enough to see. I've heard the TLR-2 can be modified with a new LED to be SUPER bright though...
