Used XD 40 Tactical pricing
Hey gang I have found a used XD 40 Tactical for sale locally. It has approximately 700 rounds through it, about 2 years old. It comes with all XDgear and 3 extra mags.
The guy is asking $525 FTF. Bud's has them new for $445. Mags are $25 ea from many places. But this gun isn't new. Fair or not?? I have bought XD 45 Service for $425, and XD 45C 4" w/ TFOs , 9 mags and Crossbreed holster for $600.

well unless the gun is plated in white gold, and has cool etchings, I wouldn't touch it lol
used for more than a new one... hmmm sounds kinda like price scalping to me

I bought a new XD40 Tactical (black) w/Trijicon sights for $589 earlier this year. Sounds a little steep to me.

If the extra magazines are worth approximately 70 dollars, do you think the used pistol is worth ~400? If so, grab it.
My FFL does free transfers if he can't beat the price, so for me I'd spend the extra 40 bucks and buy the new one from Buds. Not that there is anything wrong with a used XD, but for less than 50 dollars more I'm always happy to be the first owner... |
