Going to Cabela's...
Going to Cabela's in a few, getting a Holster for my XD9 and possibly the Smith. Any good IWB holsters someone can recommend? Looking at the $50-60 range, dark brown/black leather (none of that lame creamer colored garbage) and preferably no plastic. I'll consider if it's really that good.
Don't want anything too expensive, just want it to work. Don't really need all the bells and whistles. Also, do they sell good belts? Mine has seen better days, I could use a new one. Also, remember that I'm a fatass, I don't want something that will be uncomfortable. Don't really care where I carry, but 3 O'clock - 4:30 seems to work best.

If it were me, in that price range, I'd get a Crossbreed Supertuck. No question.

Those are special order only, though, correct?
I am planning on getting one, but last I heard you had to wait about a month for one. I need one now, since I have nothing. I'd rather not mexi-carry it and have it fall through my pants or something stupid like that. I don't like OWB holsters since I'm a big guy, and unless I start buying "tall" shirts, my gun is very noticeable.

Yeah those have a wait time. But I'm sure you'll find something good to get you by.

Order it now, so in two weeks you're not wishing you did. There is no substitute even at cabelas.

Last time I was at the Cabelas in Ft Worth, they didn't have much of a selection of IWB holsters. Most were OWB & western style.
I recommend on getting one from the maker or on-line somewhere.

Comp-tac/Minotaur IWB holsters...
I got mine in about a week. It is leather beside the body, and a molded Kydex component that holds the weapon securely, and allows for one handed re-holster. Wear mine at around 3:00-4:00 all day long. I always wanted only quality leather holsters (and still do for OWB) , but am now a true believer in this style of IWB holster. BTW, You get some candy with every order! mrwildroot

I've never been to Cabela's, but I've used the Don Hume IWB on my PPK and XD9SC. Carried @ 3:30

There certainly wasn't a huge selection of IWB holsters...but I ended up getting a low end Galco IWB for my J Frame. $25, and it fits well, isn't too noticeable, but certainly not the most comfortable of holsters. Of course, it's not the smooth, dark leather that I prefer, but it'll certainly hold me over for a few months.
Also picked up some Hornady XTP and TAP 9mm.
