idiot, no offense.. It may be fun, but not designed for that purpose. In my world of safety, that doesn't work for me. Just my opinion.

Who cares. He isn't breaking any laws, gun is in a safe direction whatever. How are you gonna ban it anyway? Only the gun and his hands are used. What about that guy that empties a revolver in less than a second

One more thing about bumping... you don't "pull the trigger" when you bump. Miculek et al actually pull the trigger in their demonstrations. They have a natural gift of fast twitch muscle fibers and high coordination. Bumpers don't need that. The "technique" causes the gun to pull its own trigger by bumping against the shooter's trigger finger or an assisting tool. This is quite distinct from developing hand coordination and speed to actually pull the trigger 6 times to cause 6 shots to come out in a second. They are two totally different things. Anyway... I think it is unsafe. I think it is simply a way to try skirt the law to get semi-autos to act like autos and that is asking for trouble. My gun club doesn't allow it in any way shape or form and I think they are right. If you want to do it, great go ahead... but don't cry to me if you lose control of ther weapon and get hurt... if you blow your gun up with a squib explosion... or if you have to fork out $10k in legal fees to defend yourself when John Law "mistakenly" locks you up for having an automatic weapon since he can't understand how bumping works when you try to explain why your gun is not an automatic weapon. You get no sympathy from me. You wanted to play with fire and you got burned.

SORRY BUT THE TRIGGER IS BEING PULLED EACH TIME THE GUN FIRES, WATCH THE AR-15 BUMP VIDEO AND YOU CAN SEE WHERE THE GUN RECOILS AND I AM FORCING IT FORWARD, OR PULLING THE TRIGGER EACH TIME.
If it was so dangerous i wouldnt be doing it. I am not an idiot and know my limits, now if i was bump firing a desert eagle then maybe i would agree. so if you watch the video of my bumping my ar, even if you see the rifle recoiling and me forcing it forward (or pulling the trigger each time) its illegal? i dont think so, some of you guys need to take a chill pill. its not illegal and sorry but im not 13 years old either. if i wanted to bump and hit a target i would practice, but im not trying to hit anything. again its my ammo and gun, im not breaking the law and all the cops, DEA and border patrol agents around here agree, otherwise i think they would have thrown me in the can along time ago. opinions are opinions and dont try and preach about how guys like me will get guns banned in the U.S. BULLS*&T you guys should worry more about the real scum out there robbing people and shooting peopl everynight. Just imagine, i can see it now, HEADLINE NEWS "A video on youtube depicting a young man manipulating his handgun to fire like a full auto was pulled off the internet and the mans house raided by the ATF GESTAPO. The man is now serving a life sentence for making his semi auto firearms fire like a fully automatic weapon. A nation wide gun ban is being enforced due to a technique called bump firing." lol please spare me. and hey i would be famous also! yay

I could be all wrong here, and probbaly am...but I think if any 'negativity' was offered, it was done solely with the idea of being safe. Discounting safety for the fun of bump firing shouldn't ever happen. That's MY 2 cents and I hope that I haven't ruffled any feathers with this comment...if I di, I do apologize.
