Nice, thanks BOFH, see now that's what I'm talking about. Imagine if we "the people" did this everytime some rediculous bill was being introduced regarding "gun control" they are going to think in their heads...here it goes again.

We need to make our voices heard either way, so keep it up and lets hope this one doesn't make it any further than it has.

Well...it looks like 2062 (ammo) and 2235 (smart guns) are 'effectively dead':

Lethal Bills Stay in Senate Committee Suspense....

Lethal Bills stay in Senate Committee Suspense File!
AB 2062 , by DeLeon - (D) commonly known as the "Ammo Ban" Bill, and AB 2235 by DeSaulnier - (D), commonly known as the "Smart Gun" Bill, was left in suspense file in the Senate Appropriations Committee today.

GOC Lobbyist and Exeutive Director, Sam Paredes, said, "The bills are effectively dead." This was the good news after spending the whole day at the Capitol working against the bills passage.

The bad news is that the bill known as "The Cow Palace Bill", AB 2948 Leno - (D) did get passed out of the committee and now will go to the Senate floor for a whole house vote.

This is no time to rest on our successes, for AB 2948 deserves to die permanently as well, and will do so only as gun owners in California let their voices be made known to their Senators.

I tried calling and fighting for a while in CA, I even visited my local representatives office in person. Than I got tired of the anti-gunners gaining ground, they put 10 anti-gun bills into the senate and while 9 get voted down, 1 passes. 1 passing is too many, how many pro-gun bills repealing bills like AB 2948, or the Micro-Stamping bill, do you see getting put into the senate? Over half the gun owners in CA just do not care enough to fight the passing of the anti-gun bills. I moved and have never looked back... Good luck to your fight in CA and maybe you can manage to rally the support of all the gun owners and do some good in CA.
