Some opinions from the group please...would you trade in a Glock 23 for the new XDM? I am so tempted to do so, but would very much value your opinions.

Thanks.

If I owned a 23 it would be the first gun I sold. My friend has one I have shot it multiple times and don't like it. If it was a 19 or 17 maybe different story. Trade G 23 for XDm = done deal in my book.

Springfield and their Croatian partners have a very good thing going with the original XD line. It still sells very good. I personally just bought a new XD 9mm Tactical with night sights. I like it so much I am not going to buy the Glock just now. Down the road yes.
XDm is just a new model for sporting or Law.
Every one who is freaking out over this is doing so for no reason.
That's what I thought, Springfield is giving the consumer a choice between the original model and maybe something better. And I'm saying better because I have not fired the XD-M, however I have handled one and they are nice. Choice is good, change is good, ok sometimes. anyway in this case having the old DX and the new XD-M to choose from then change is good.
