Technical Question: 4" barrel fit in 3" gun?
In my quest to find a threaded barrel for my 3" XD9SC I am having to think out of the box.
No one sells a threaded 3" SC barrel. So what next? Can you drop in a 4" or 5" barrel into a subcompact 9 and work correctly with barrel sticking out? Anyone know?

No it will not fit. The distance between the lug and the frame is wrong, but on the bright side these guys make what you are looking for

Well I just read your other thread and if Scott said you're screwed I think you are. Sorry, but I don't even think that you can go custom at this point because if he can't make it work probably no one can.

how hard can it be to make a replacement Sc barrel and extend it 1/2 an "?

So why does EFK still have it listed as in stock on their site? Have you contacted them recently?
