The Beltman

I stumbled across this link in the forum earlier and bookmarked it for future reference. Gun Belts by The Belt Man Sorry don't remember the thread. His belts look like they might be a little cheaper than triple digits depending on your waist size.

Anybody here have any experience with the seller?

The belt I got is a 1.75" from the belt man. Nice quality belt, but it's just been horribly uncomfortable. It's uncomfortable whether or not I'm using it for nothing other than holding my pants up or carrying.

I'm actually quite healthy, deliver 15000lbs of soda on average every day.

You might want to try a 1.5", your problem maybe the extra 1/4". Do you have any 1.5" non gun belts to try because the gun belt shouldn't be any different in fit. Beltman does sell good priced gun belt my only problem with leather is that it will wear from putting the holster on and off, the clips tend to wear off the finish with everyday use. As far as comfort goes there is a lot of difference when you are bending and moving around working wearing a gun versus not having to move very much. Driving all day can be pretty uncomfortable too. You might want to take a look at the convertable holster like the one offered by FIST.

You don't need a belt. You need a shoulder holster and a lot of beer and ice cream to put some weight on your bones. Will give you half of my weight. 6'2" and 285lbs

I had the same problem even at my size, until i found the Wilderness Belt. No more belt bite and very comfortable. I wear it all the time and do not own any other belts any more.

Did you get the 3-stitch, 5-stitch or CSM reinforced version? There seems to be a few models to choose from.

I ave both a 3 stitch and a 5 stitch and really don't notice a lot of difference. I think the CSM is over kill.
