Welcome to the forums. There is no compact XD9 . The 9mm comes in a full size grip as a 4 inch service or 5 inch tactical. It also comes as the XD9sc with the shorter grip and I think a 3 inch barrel.

I bought my wife the XD9sc and I love it!! I shoot her gun more than my XD45 service. I bought the XD9sc from budsgunshop.com, there customer service was awesome and they offer financing. If you qualify you have get no interest and no payments for six months.

Welcome to the forum.

The XD9SC is a great gun. I own the XD9SC, the XD45 Compact, and a XD45 Tactical.

The XD45 Compact is not much larger than the SC, and it packs 11 rounds of 45ACP, as opposed to 11 rounds of 9mm. For Inside the Waistband carry, the 1 inch of arell will not bother you.

Both are fine at the range. Both are very accurate. Both are affordable and reliable.

BudsGunshop has great prices. Also check out XDPistols.com.
