Night sights and concealment issues
Any issues concealing a gun with bright night sights? I'm concerned about glowing through clothing while holstered.
Thoughts? Pics? Thanks! |

Night sights are not huge neon signs. Most night sights are designed in such a way that you can only see the glow from straight back.
If this is all you have to worry about then you have a very good life. |

I found that my trijicons don't glow super bright anyway. I am not at the least bit concerned about the conceal-ability of the gun due to them whatsoever.

Unless you have a really low flash load you can't even see them after the first shot , if it's very dark out.

It's a valid question, but the thought of a guy walking down the street with something around his belt band glowing made my morning. thanks!

I carried a night-sighted Sig P220 for awhile and if you had the gun holstered & uncovered in a dark room, that rear sight stick out like a sore thumb.
I have since started using an illuminated sight on the front only, and my night shooting hasn't suffered at all. With the current emphasis on speed shooting we tend to forget that it's really all about seeing the front sight- and getting one or two good hits on the other guy before he can 'do unto you' first.
