EL Centro California
I was just out in El Centro for a week, and got invited to an indoor shooting range called Border Tactical in El Centro. Great place with great people working there. I had never shot any tactical shooting before, but Brian who works there, and took me there signed me up for it. I had a blast. We shot two scenarios..one was low light, and then the other was left hand shooting (or right hand if you are a lefty). Shooting around walls at targets with badguy/goodguy...Jerry who set it up is tricky...he added a gun to one of the target's normally goodguys. The range can take up to 50 caliber, and certain rifles are OK also. They have a website Border Tactical - Home if you live in the area I highly recommend going there, and checking it out. I had never practiced left hand shooting, and put the right thumb in the wrong place, and got a nice slide bite.

El Centro for a week? You have my deepest sympathies!
Good to know there's something to do there aside from watching illegals cross the border through binoculars. |
