saw my first XDm at the gun store.

well i have finally held the xdm and i have to say i keep likeing it more and more. 16 rounds of 40s&w is real hard to beat. and the trigger is really nice and short. grip feels smaller then the xd45 i have. over all it seems to be a good gun. i wont be selling my original xds though but i might buy one of these some day. price $609 black XDm $510 xd tactical 9mm black

I held one last weekend at at gun show here in Indianapolis. Feels very nice. Overall looks like a great gun. I don't think I'll be getting one though. If I didn't already have a pistol to fill the role that my current XD45 tactical does, I'd probably buy it. Instead of buying another similar pistol, I'd rather put my money towards other guns of interest. Sure there are distinct advantages to the newer model, I'd just rather spend my gun money towards other guns such as a shotgun, AR, target pistol, the lists is quite long. My XD45 fills the category of a home defense combat pistol. Definately would be a good buy if I was in the market for one.

Held one today as well and I got to tell ya It's a nice gun. If it was in a 9mm I would consider one.

I held one, today. I couldn't leave the store without it. It's mine. All mine.

I too got to handle the XDm today... it's kinda growing on me. It feels even more natural to hold than the 2 XDs I have.

Now I have to decide if my next gun will be a 1911 or the XDm. The XDm will fit nicely between my SC and my Tactical .40s ~ but I also held a nice Dan Wesson Classic the other day. I'm so confused. Maybe I'll just enjoy what I have for now.
