Like others have said, you may find that you need to replace this small part or pin, but in general your XD should last a VERY long time. If I were shooting that much, I would build up a spare parts kits from what OEM parts are currently offered. Heck, I don't shoot that much, but I am still going to build up the kit.

I am not sure, but look forward to finding out with my .40 Tac.

I was talking to a guy at a shooting competition the other day that had a Para Ordanance that he said has over 80,000 rounds through it without any problems.

My guess is that SA's will do the same. If not, the warranty should take care of the rest!!

I would assume that with a lifetime warranty, the gun will last a lifetime!
