I would say it'll be a while. Springfield would be smart to offer different calibers first and any other frame sizes afterwards.
As for the different calibers: Quote:

Xd9 Sc
I bought the XD9 SC to carry and it is an awesome gun. With the mag Xtension it fits anyone's hand and still small enough to carry concealed. I know the 9 isn't for everyone but every shot was on target the first time out of the box.

I doubt they're going to make compact or subcompact XDm's.
They would be forced to discontinue their XD line and produce XDm's only. It would flood the market and stagnate sales on their own products. The XDm is really meant to be a full size duty/competition gun. They already offer a ton of 1911 and XD options for the concealed carry conscious minds.

Looks like a decent photoshop to me, but I like the hell out of it.

Read the fine print on the bottom. It's an April fools joke. I would absolutely love to see an XD(m) compact or sub compact. I think SA would keep that locked up tight until they have enough produced to try to stay ahead of the huge amount of guns they would sell.

Wow, I read that fine print but for some reason stopped halfway through the sentence. Damn ADD!
