CONSIDERING trading an XD for an XD.
I'm still thinking about this. But, would anyone consider trading their stock xd tactical 9mm for my tactical 40 which I had these things done to it.
Canyon Creek trigger job. Canyon Creek refinished the slide and parts. Heinie slant pro sights. Don's recoil rod. 5-10 round mags. Bar-sto magwell. Bar-sto barrel. Plus the stock barrel. The gun is almost a year old it shoots flawlessly and very tight groups. Never had a problem with the gun. Let me know if this is something you would consider. Would like FTF in California. |

I have 3 and 4 inch in 9mm. So why not just make everything the same. And yes ammo is alittle cheaper in 9mm and I do shoot alot. About 3 to 4 matches a month.

If you shoot matches, the 40 might be a little better. At our local matches, we shoot steel quite a bit. In order to count, it has to fall. Most of the guys shoot 1911's, but some shoot 40's and 9's. The 9's many times won't knock down the steel with 1 shot. I found the 40 knocked them down fine.
Just my .02 cents. May not fit your situation though.

I'd like to trade my XD 40 Service for a 9mm Service. Just fell that I would like the 9mm better. My 40 shoots everything well but I have never cared for the 40 round.
