What are you doing with your XD triggers?

I have 3 XDs and I would like to look at some trigger work. Just take them to a pistolsmith? Are there kits out there for someone who is not very mechaniclly inclined? Do they come with directions?

I love my triggers after 200 rounds. Keeping the OEM.

They are sure a lot better than Glock triggers. I'll try breaking them in like you say first.

Good point Puppy, me too, including 500 pulls this morning. My finger hurts, thats why i'm thinking about the trigger job haha.

P.S. I think most of the pain in my finger comes from my Glock 27. Man those are hard triggers! Damn.

I don't think I have ever shot that many rounds at one setting. Probably 100 rounds tops but I've never had a sore finger. Since I sometimes use mine for CC I really don't want a lighter trigger.

True, I CC my Glock 27 and I would leave that alone, but for plinking around I would sure like something softer. I'm sure there are kits out there. I was hoping to do some work on just 1 of the XDs and see how it goes.

I kinda like mine stock as is. It has gotten better with use. If you are gonna do a trigger job though, give Springer Precision a shot.

+1 actually +2 for Springer Precision because he has done a competition job on an XD9 and a carry job on an XD45 and I now have 2 more XD45's to send his way.
