I have PRP on my XD-9 and My XD-45 but not my XD-40. After shooting my 9, which Daniel added to a self-installed Springer kit, I cannot stand to shoot the 40....
I would choose the PRP lever and overtravel stop. It's half the price of the comparable Springer capability and gets you there with the same amount of work. Then if you buff the sides of the lever and the sear before you put them back in, you'll have a very nice trigger.

I installed my Powder River Precision Saftey Lever and Overtravel Stop in my 45 Tac tonight. I confess I did have to call Daniel and get some pointers with some slight SL filing that needed to be done but after that it was cake. Just figuring out how to get the OTS in there with the block and trigger the first time was the most time consuming part. After a few test fits I had it down and then 2 slight shavings with some sand paper it was done. Over travel is gone and pretravel is pretty much gone as well. Its just right and just how I thought it would be. Lighter springs would put it into race gun territory but I'm not ready for that right now. BTW, Daniel could not have been nicer and was willing to walk me through the whole process step by step. About 10 min on the phone and I was on my way. So its a cool kit from a cool guy and you can't go wrong with this one.

I just received another safety lever for my xd9 service and two overtravel stops from powder river for both my xd's. Glad I waited for the overtravel stops.
