XDm - Mags

I might be late but here we go . . . are the xdm mags compatible with the regular xd40? i dont mean to sound like a hater but the 16 rounds of .40 is the only factor that matters too me. I want those hi cap mags for my regular xd

I have a 4" service and an XDm (for 2 days) and the mags don't fit. On another note however that XDm is a JOY to shoot.
