Over a year ago I signed up, paid for membership, never got what was promised,

this was sent to the abscentee owner today:

I want you to know that your own lack of response resulted in me not re-newing my membership here. I tried several methods to get this taken care of and you are an idiot for not responding you could have charged TWICE the price with the services offered and I would have paid, I offer as evidence that I pay 3 times the amount to another firearms forum and you had my business FIRST.

Quit being a jerk and respond to those who hand you cash.

Who did you give money too? Did the money payment go through? Did you try contacting the owner or one of the mods(there are a few of them) when you noticed nothing new was happening with your account?

I paid proper, have had the special extra membership for long time. Contacted mods about email, old school quite professional in response that he was no longer able to complete, Kermee had multipule chances/request to fix and the net result is that I am not willing to renew membership when what was promised over a year ago never happened.

kermee needs to grow up and get to work or delagate either way I would not be unhappy. Fact is, one year of no response deserves public ridicule for it and that is what this is. As I said, mods on this site responsive but unable to help, owner not responsive and the only one who can provide what is advertised.

I stopped short of re-upping and filing complaint with visa and would NOT be doing this public if it was not for the 0 response to SEVERAL messages including email.

Old School is insanely responsive, not only as a moderator, but as a business owner as well, so is Don (Dons Gun Rods). It seems obvious to me that if there was a problem or if something slipped through the there was due diligence you could have done, and yet here we are.

Now, there's something to be said for the ability to petition for regress of grievances, and the moderators are pretty open to discussion here.

Your method however is a failure, but then that's why the Internet has pictures like this one:

There was not threat made what so ever, do not mistake a threat for a reality sir.

I have 0 problems with the mods of these forums or these forums themselves other than the false advertisement by the owner, you have an exact quote of the PM I sent to him over one year ago regarding the promise of a pop email account which was never delivered after several request. My comments on Old School are factual, after PM'ing a mod I was told OldSchool had the capability at one time, upon contact with oldschool, he responded in less than 24 hours which is perfectly fine.

unfortunately oldschool clearly indicated that he was unable to provide promised service as Kermee had altered the software and he was my only point of contact. Several attempts have been made, pm's, email etc and the net result is 0 response.

When the email arrived to renew, I seriously considered going forward with it intent upon objecting it through visa to make a point, however causing trouble like that for 2a folks is not my goal and factually, I pay 3 times the amount to another 2a site for a popmail account.

So if it is to delete the offensive that is your goal, you are going to need admin rights and legal ground to stand on as the only one to be offensive is Kermee himsef as no other has done wrong and he needs to step up or step out.

Thank you for clearing that up.

I am aware it pushes the limits, skirting the razors edge with it was the intent sir and should it be required to become dust in the wind, I humbly request that you copy it prior, email it to all mods and kermee as well and then nuke as required.

I seek attention to the problem, the money is not the issue at any level and I hope that point has been driven.

I have no problem providing dollars to those who do what they say, I have a huge problem with those who ignore my willingness to give them my dollars for services rendered.

The first post of this thread is a pm I sent to kermee, the one in quotes is one I sent over a year ago, I am a happy member trying to call notice to a huge problem, an unresponsive owner. If oldschool had been able to fix this for me a year ago, we would not even be discussing it.

I'm sorry to hear of your problems.
Any time I've ever contacted a mod, usually Ed Ely or Kermee, I have received responses with in 24 hours.

I became a paying member back in Aug of 07, I think.
No problem with the payment.
After the big server upgrade I decided to give a little more.
That payment also went thru without a problem.
Maybe that I've been using Paypal for over 6 years helped me.
I don't know.

I hope your issues get resolved.
This is the only forum I post on.
I feel all that I've read and learned here, and not just about XD pistols, is well worth the $$ I've contributed to the forum.
