Open message to those with the courage to respond

I am not looking for a refund. I was a gold member, I did not re-up based upon this issue, I was a gold member from 04-07 to 04-08 and I am trying only to draw attention to the fact that the reason I did not send more money is because repeated request for Kermeee to activate my email address as promised went totally ignored by HIM, not the mods or members of this forum.

Kermee has a lot going on besides this forum.
From my understanding, he does this forum as a service.
Not to make $$ on it.

Did you try the other mods besides Oldschool?
Ed Ely has always been very helpful with any issues I've had.
If he doesn't know an answer he will usually find one.

I hate to see you pissed off while I've had nothing but kudos for this forum....

Priorities in line?
Hi,

I am fairly new around here and I kinda like these forums.

The reason I am contacting you is your closure of the thread Unconstitutional Legislation Threatens Freedoms

Now before you go off half cocked about how it is none of my business, it violated the rules and etc that is the standard response to thread complaints on most forums, take note of what my complaint is and what it is about.

I did not see anything bad about the thread, do not understand why it was close, nor do I really care. I signed up and then donated funds because of the great forums and the flat out wonderful way in which one can get a wealth of information from some knowledgable folks.

The forum offers this membership thing that gives a person some interesting bonus items for helping out. The photo thing, a pvt area, an email account, etc.

On 4-12 I made a donation to support these forums and a couple of days later following the directions I shot "kermee" a private message about the email thing, a week or so later I shot another pm about it and still no response. Five days ago I posted a thread about it in the "members lounge" and it has yet to recieve a single response and in fact it only has 2 views, one of which is mine!

I guess what I am wondering is, why is it not more important to offer assistance to those who try and support the site than it is to police what at best would be considered a very tame thread that is in violation of the rules?

Please do not misunderstand, I am not being critical of you personally, your just the first mod I noticed and you happened to be the one to close that thread, you likely have not noticed my post in the members area is my only point.

Anyway, in the end, it is just the internet and nothing is real on the internet If you can get it resolved or assist me in getting it resolved, I will begin sporting my new xdtalk email addy and help support the site further by advertising it about on other places in cyber world and perhaps attract so other newbies who might be compelled to donate a buck as well.

As you can see from the post below yours, I have contacted several follks for about a year now, at what point did it stop being my responsibility to be sure the site delivered what it promised sir, I thought it was at the point in which I had paid in full.

You are under a false misunderstanding if you think this is a freebie from Kermee, this site has sponsors and members that more than cover the cost and IMHO since none of the mods are paid there is very little cost and significant profit involved in this site as there should be.

I want to see 2a sites make monies and prosper so future generations have the same rights as we do, it is important, that is why I donated over a year ago, it is why I donate to others.
