XD Thumb Safety changes
Hi all,
I've been looking into buying an XD45 Tactical, and when in a shop today I saw fresh in a bi-tone 45 tac with the new thumb safety, for 50 bucks less than the normal one without it. Now this of course made me start pondering buying it, but first I wanted to get a bit more information. I've heard that with the safety on the gun now, it will increase the time between rounds chambering and the reason for the cheaper price is that they are manufacturing the grips with fireforming now. Anyone heard about either of these things, or any other major differences between the older and the newer XD's? Thanks |
