Supertuck (untucked)
I have never carried and will be getting my CCW soon. I plan on getting a supertuck, but I am not a tucker. I usually wear button up shirts untucked. Is the supertuck still the best choice (or a good choice)?

Yup, it's the best choice. I barely ever have to tuck my shirt in. It's just really nice to have that feature, but you don't have to use it. Personally though, I tuck my undershirt in so that it's between my skin and supertuck. I guess I'm sensitive to leather on skin contact.

I will be getting a XD 45 compact. I actually get it toady at 5:01 PM (my 10 day waiting period). I almost always wear an undershirt tucked in.
Thanks for the replies. I just need my wife to let me spend more money and I will be getting a supertuck and belt. |

What you will find is the need for a few ways to carry depending on wardrobe. It's not a one size fits all. A supertuck is a great first start. I've also got a OWB holster from Galco that I use with a shirt over it.

I usually wear my shirt untucked with my Supertuck but I have also worn it with shirt tucked. With that said I prefer untucked, you know one of those beach type shirts. They are always in season here in Florida.

Might take a look at the Crossbreed Quickclip, too.

Hello there this is my first post, I have been reading this forum for the last 6 months and finally decided to register. I use the mtac and love it. I carry my xd 45c all day, i have tried other holsters and this one has been the best for me. When I was looking for a different holster I looked at the supertuck and the mtac, I went with the mtac because I didn't want to wait the 3 weeks. I'm not sure about the supertuck but the mtac is adjustable and has different size and color clips.
