Tacticals going for 900+

Is this normal? Impactguns.com has them for 908 which
seems to me that it wouldn't be to much of a stretch to see
them for a grand locally.

I know they 5"XD's are rare but G34/35 are around 600.

That seems really high. I thought all the XD's were in the same ball park of price.

Those are the Tactical Pro models, not the standard Tacticals.

Unless they are old pro models which they only made a few of, it has to be a miss print.

I thought a tactical going for 568 was bad.....

How were/are the Pros different from a standard XD?

By looking at them it's only the XD tactical pros that are going for that much, the standard tacticals are going for $435 or so. The only difference I can see is that they are stainless steel (other than the frame). The front sight looks different as well. Here's a pic:

I believe they also have some trigger work done on them...

Not to mention that big ol' beaver tail and night sights.

I have heard they are stainless, extended beavertail to reduce muzzle flip, full trigger job with fiber optic sights. They are designed to basically be IPSC ready. Haven't seen any in person though. Would be a nice duty gun.
