OK, I just dropped $599.00 for the new XD-M + Sales Tax of 7% for a grand total of $640.93. I'll pick it up tomorrow. If you are ever near Liberty, SC stop by Garner's Hunting and Fishing. Here's the Web site;

If you go to Carter's Country in Spring, tell Kathy I said Hello (Kellyl) She had a son in Iraq the past couple of years. She is top shelf and a very very nice person. She has worked there for a long time. Kel

The little round areas on the bottom left corner of the case work well for storing spare batteries for my light. I had to do a bit of cutting and gluing the foam, but the unused strap cutout now houses the light itself.

I just purchased the new XD M yesterday and had to run out today to put a few hundred rounds through it to feel it out. I must say that I am very please with it. I have 3 other XD's and the match has better balance and fit to my hand. I agree with most that the trigger is not much better than the standard one but, Ii was not really concerned since Ii had planned on shipping it to Scott at Springer precision any way for his competition 3.5 lb trigger job! Ii shot 400 rounds without a single hiccup which by all honesty is what i expected and it didn't disappoint. I fed it semi wad-cutters,round flat nose and it eat them all up flawlessly. I think I just found my new IDPA gun. Now i need to find out if Blade tech has a holster for it yet.
