I found a holster at a gun show that had been cut and sewn incorrectly that carries my M very well, been using it for CC for about two weeks now. This holster will work until one of my preferred holster makers get tired of me calling and put one on the market.

I think I am going to use a World Shoot Model the latest version of the CR Speed Holster. Should work like a champ for USPSA Limited Class. Now for a magwell, mag extender and new sights, extended mag release and a few other odds and ends.

well i went out to the country with my XDm this weekend and finally got a chance to put some rounds down range. i fired a total of 300 rounds through the gun over a couple of hours and i never had any problems. i was surprised at how accurate this gun is. i was consistently putting 8 in the 10-ring, with the other 8 bordering the ring (probably about a 4-5 inch group at 30 feet). however when i slowed it down a bit and really took my time i could put all 16 in the ten ring. there is nothing better than pointing a gun down range and putting every bullet you fire exactly where you want it. i am extremely happy with the purchase of my XDm and wouldnt trade it for anything.

NATE: If you look at the dvd that did not come with the gun, but should have, you will see Rod Lathan showing you several things that SHOULD HAVE come with the gun, in my opinion, but did not. The DVD being one of them, the other, as you mentioned clearly show that this area was for SHOULDER STRAPS for the case so that you could carry it that way with your weapon in there or by taking out all the foam and shoulder carrying anything else, as suggested, this would make a nice case for a lap top. I don't think I would use this for a lap top but what ever. Also, if you noticed the ad in Guns and Ammo magazine, they clearly show a third magazine, two in the foam insert and one in the gun. Also, the newest SA catalog I have in front of me clearly show a picture of the open case with that exact set-up...that is 3 magazines. The Guns and Ammo ad clearly say, TWO EXTRA MAGAZINES included. I don't about your understanding of the english language but to me that says there should be 3 total. There are only two and SA will NOT send you the 3rd mag....nor will they send you the shoulder strap. I asked already so I ordered two more mags. The will send you the DVD though.... and a couple of SA decals for your trouble. Nice guys, but not backing up their advertising is not a way to to business. I do like the gun though, with the rest beign said.

Just had a chance to actually hold the new XD-M. Man, I like the feel. It seems lighter than my XD 40 SC. Any way I'll have it on Wednesday, probably shoot it on Thursday. Why I didn't buy it today, well I can get it for $20.00 cheaper at another store. They have to order it. They say it'll be here next day. The other gun dealer would not drop his price $10.00, so I just went in to his store just to hold the gun. Even though the other dealer is in another county and he has to order the gun. I'd much rather do business with him, because he is the one that introduced me to the SA XD. I'll take the twenty I saved and buy some cartridges. Kool!! I'm PUMPED!
