I actually feel that the Glock G35 is less annoying than the XD40 Tactical so I am wondering if the XD(M) recoil has improved to the point that I can trade in my G35? Obviously at some point in the future someone will make a 9mm conversion barrel for the XD(M) so waiting for a 9mm version is not an issue for me.
I posted it somewhere on here earlier, but it did shoot much better than previous XD models or Glock .40 models.

its like the offspring of an unholy union between an XD and a P99...send that abomination back to the abyss from whence it was spewed!

now that one fine looking xd-hs , can't wait to buy one in 45 tactical model. i have already have a hs40 tactical and it's doing quite well. if the new model surpass the older one in ergonomics and accuracy then i don't care if the gun looks like a piece of **** as long as it reliable.

It's starting to sound like they've made some nice improvements to the line.

I won't be in the market for one for sometime and should avoid the early adopters typical raping when and if I do buy.

Now I know they say they're only planning to offer this in 40 S&W but I suspect we'll see them role this out to other calibers over the next year or two. I also suspect the after market barrel makers will offer conversion kits in 9mm and 357 sig.

The trigger improvements, if they pan out, may make the price difference well worth it -- again, we will see...

Fits in my Blade Tech holsters just fine. However the 16rd magazines are larger than the 12rd 40 mags. Some of my pouches work ok, some do not. And the 45acp pouches are too loose.
