All Things XD(M)™ Posted Here...

(I tagged this onto the end of a long thread, but I thought some who would want to see the videos might miss it, so I started a new thread. i hope that's okay.)

Springfield will be distributing a DVD about the XDm. You can see some of that DVD online, in free streaming video.

GunTalkTV - The #1 Online Resource for Gun Training

You'll see 10 videos on the right side. Just click on one and start. There are more than 250 firearm and knife videos on the site.

SA definitely plans a .45. No word now on when that will happen.

Great post. Thanks!

Just got finished watching them. What a load of crap... GIMMICKS!

What can I say, originally my response was what a gimmicky gun. Now that I have seen these videos my original suspicion is validated. What a shame... makes me ashamed to own an XD now :-/

Nice, I would call it a no-brainer for the .45 and market share. After watching the videos I really like the XDm. Any idea if SA will do 9MM another what I would call a no-brainer?

10mm wouldn't be out until after the .45 as the mag channel is not deep enough for 10mm and the 10mm would be based on the .45 frame.

Tom,

With the new XDm barrel what improvements in accuracy have you seen? Do you have any data you could share? Just wondering the details on the m factors like shooting from a rest at xx yards nets xx type of groupings.

Thx

Do you have any confirmation from Springfield that they even intend to make a 10mm?

They already stopped making the XD in .45 GAP. So I'm skeptical that they'll be willing to take a chance on another niche round like the 10mm, which hasn't exactly taken the handgun market by storm since its inception.
