Just bought a XD 45 compact
I purchased a black XD 45 compact 2 days ago at my local shop. 8 more days until I get it. I also just recently passed my CCW class and will be applying for my CCW permit soon after getting my gun.

I paid $550 for it, which is a little high but I supported the local shop in our tiny town. It is always good to support local.

I cannot wait to shoot it.

It was my first semi auto...I had TFOs put on it on day one and love them.

Way to go excellent choice. I love my XD 45C. I am going to start selling all my neighbors yard furnitue, gas grills, boats what ever they have that isn't nailed down so I can afford to shoot mine, well what did you expect the ammo is getting expensive. But honestly your going to love it and ammo really isn't that bad because if you like to shoot you'll make provisions to buy ammo. I put night sights on my XDs I went with TRU GLOs and have no problems and no regrets. Welcome to the forum be careful and have fun. Take a look at CrossBreed holsters for CC they are very popular here on the forum and I love mine I own the Supertuck best IWB holster I ever owned.
