Got scratches/scuffs on my barrel

I got scuffs/scratches on the outside of my barrel on the black coloring of my XD9. i guess they are made after each round is fired. I've put close to 1000 through my XD since i got it...does anyone else have this issue?

No worries....Here is a surefire way to forget about the usage marks (trust me i did this, by accident of course).

Take your XD (with the usage marks) and drop it on your bathroom floor (breaking a piece of slate, because your XD is that hard-core). Usage marks forgotten...problem solved.

No need to thank me...

I drove over mine.

Naa just play'n along......but I like the tossing it out into the driveway idea....

My XD9sc has the same marks @800+ rounds. Some are into radical polishing to put a shine on. I'm guessing it hides the scratches.....ummm.......better?

I think every carry gun needs to have some sort of "birth mark". You seem to worry less about getting it dirty in the future.

Just like a jeep....every single one looks better with mud!
