Duracoated CrimsonTrace?

I have read that the Crimson Trace laser grip for XD's is made of the same polymer material as the XD itself....so my question is are the grips themselves able to be duracoated to match the frame of the XD?

Not sure if it's duracoated.
But I've "tried out" CTC laser grips by installing them briefly on my XD9sc to check feel and looks......and the CTC grips blend right in with the finish on the XD frame and feels like the same material.

It's a very tight fit and takes some effort to install, and the actual grip is....a grip...so it does "mess" with the overall feel in one's hand, but I liked....so I put a set on lay-away and will pick them up on the 30th

The only downside......the price! $325 retail......got mine w/taxes for $290.

FYI: there is a thread already running about CTC grips installed on a XD40sc somewheres in this forum

Pricing...

I saw another post that showed them for $245 @ shooters-resource.com. I got the DVD the other day from CT and I think I'll get them when I get my new XD.
