Anyone carry 2'oclock?

I find that the best way to conceal my XD9 SC appears to be either 2 o'clock or 10 o'clock (crossdraw). Of course, I'm using the slide holster that came with the XD Gear, and I've not tried this long-term yet.

Anyone conceal carry either of those ways in an OWB holster?

I'm thinking with the short barrel of the subcompact, it could be workable.

Thoughts?

(Or do I just need to cowboy up for an MTAC or SuperTuck and carry 4:00 like the rest?)

I carry the same pistol IWB at 3:30, but several of my friends are trying to get me to try 2:00. I'll follow this thread to see what others have to say on the subject.

2 oclock is uncomfortable for me, and probably anybody with a beer belly. Especially sitting down. Small of back works good for me because I have a very curved lower back. I could probably conceal a couple bricks back there without anyone knowing. But for ease of draw and comfort, I go with my supertuck at 4 oclock.

OWB goes at about 3:30.
IWB goes at about 2:00.

That's what works best for me with a .45 ACP Service.

Your actual mileage may vary.

Supertuck against bare skin or against an T-shirt underneath?

(I live in Texas and it's hot.)

I guess it depends on which you prefer: The sweat from leather on bare skin, or wearing an extra t-shirt when you're already too hot.

I do 4 O'clock...I'm to fat for anything else. Go too far back and I look like a retard trying to scratch his back...too far up and my fat gut gets in the way.

Maybe I should lose some weight...

I carry at about 1:30ish (barrel at about crease of leg) both 3" and 4" guns (1911s and XDs). Right holster is everything. With the Supertuck, you'll have to adjust the cant so muzzle forward in the most extreme setting, which should work well at 2 o'clock, especially with the XD9SC.

There are many benefits to that position, just make sure your trigger control is excellent.

Yep, 2 oclock carry with my beer belly is pretty uncomfortable. Lefty here so 9oclock or 8oclock for me.
