+1 Mine is my EDC. I live in Florida and carry it IWB under a t-shirt. At night, I stick one of my 16 round magazines in it for nightstand duty. I love this gun.

I have the XD9 SC and it is my carry gun. Also have an XD45 Tactical with 5" barrel. Currently looking at the XD45 Compact with 4" barrel. May trade in the Tactical, but I will always have the XD9 Subcompact. Sweet gun!

If you liked your 26 you will like the XD-9 SC. I can't think of one negative thing to say about them. You will appreciate the fact that field stripping is a little easier and the fact that SA includes a 16 round mag with spacer in the box.

I picked up the gun Wednesday night and shot it on a qualifying course Thursday morning with a friend. I like it much better than the Glock I had, it feels great in my hand. It exhibited good accuracy and ran flawlessly, my friend tried it , he was using my Sig 226. He wouldn't give it back to me he liked it too. I had to finish the course with the Sig. A note on the trigger it feels better than the Glock also. This is going to be a keeper, the Croatians make an excellent weapon. By the way this was only a practice session so it didn't matter I switched weapons in the middle.
