Recently bought a Sub-compact 9mm. Put the first 150rnds through it 2 days ago. My only other XD experience was a .45 Tactical. I added a pearce grip extension to the compact and it feels great. Fairly accurate although it seems to shoot high even with the sights perfectly aligned. My .45 never worked right from the go, but this little one runs like a champ. Planning on putting alot more rounds through it to get the aim down. No real complaints so far.

I love mine. I have the xd9sc bi-tone. It shoots great and not so much as a hiccup yet. I've put a bunch of rounds threw it and it has went bang everytime. I carry it almost everyday.

I have an XD 40SC the slide is now at Tripp's getting Hard Chromed, I carried it everyday and will carry it everyday when the slide gets home. Until then my partner is my XD 45 C another great gun. Then again I love all the XDs, however I do carry my Ruger P345 as well never had a single problem with itand believe me I tortured that Ruger and it just kept coming back for more and she is surprisingly accurate. My Xd 40 SC will always be my first choice my supertuck is very lonely without it.

howdy gang,
I bought a XD 9mm sc a couple of months ago, it had sighting problems, shot high and to the left. I took a really large hammer and a real good punch, but I got the rear sight to move and fixed the problem of shooting to the left. AS far as shooting high, I put a small dot on the rear sight to remind me to bury the front sight dot. Sooner or later I will put new sights on. My gun will now hit the 10 ring but I got to remember its not a "target gun". In fact that is really my only complaint. I dont like these sights . they are dark and too narrow for my eyes. Now as far a handling/pointing its GREAT !!!!! I put a white 8 by 11 paper up and shoot one handed, two handed, no sights, from the hip, hand eye level, etc shots hit the paper every time. It is one of the most natural point shooters I have ever tried. WAY better then glocks I carry in my pocket holster during the summer months, and IWB holster during the winter months. Gotta go Jack Last edited by Jack142 : 05-14-2008 at 01:17 PM. Reason: had intruptions |

Xd-9 Sc
I don't think you can go wrong with these guns. And yeah I get just as great accuracy with my SC as I did with the 4" service model. I boosted that slightly with a third party thumb rest.
