MSRP? Lets Haggle EM

Im really anxious to go get my gun, but I've been thinking about the prices they gave me and they seem a little high.

Black on black 9mm 4 service for $540 and $590 for 9mm bi tone... I'm bringing cash and the attitude to haggle.. If I bring cash shouldn't I have some pull in price? those prices seem a bit high what is a fair price for both of these guns?

Sooner you guys respond the sooner I'm in my car today and the sooner Ill be posting pictures of my new baby.

Thanks..

OH and by the way know what made me decide to pick an XD over the SW MP? the fact of this online community and the number of knowledgeable people all willing to give good input and advice. MP is sweet gun though SW online community is almost non existent.

Thanks travis

If you are bringing cash they should be willing to work with you. I would ask 410.00 for a black and 430 for a bi-tone. That will give you an indication of where you stand. They will probably tell you no, but if you don't ask...

Good luck. Post the pics when you get back.

You can get a 9mm service for $500 pretty easy around here, but a lot of places sell them for full retail and since they are larger chain type stores they dont really haggle.

Where do you live? I think Turners here in CA is selling the XD service for $499 right now...

I do not know too much about the prices but I know I got my black 9mm tactical for $572 out the door (so taxes included) last month. I found some places on line I could have gotten it cheaper but I really wanted to get it local (Tucson, AZ).

Heres the problem guys this is good ole New Jersey where everything is inflated in price which is crap. So I'm expecting to pay a little more than lets say someone in Texas or Utah but 540.. for Black on Black cmon and 590 for Bi tone?

540 for the xd9sub from murphy's.

edited to add: you could go online and save some cash, but then you have to figure in shipping and ffl transfer fees.

me personally, when it comes to a nice gun, saving 40-50 bucks from a dealer on a n.i.b. isn't worth the time. gunshow, yes, gunshop, no.
