The Packers are the greatest franchise in the history of any professional sport?! NOT!

How about the New York Yankees with TWENTY SIX World Series victories?!
How about the Boston Celtics with SIXTEEN NBA championships?!
How about the Montreal Canadiens with TWENTY FOUR Stanley Cups?!

The Packers are low on the totem pole compared to those three! Not to mention that the Joe Montana led 49er's that won four Super Bowls would've easily trounced ANY Packer team in history!

Wow, no telling how much flaming i'd get if I said I was a huge Cowboys fan and that the Packers, Eagles, Cardinals & Redskins suck. Glad I'm not going to say any of that. I can't wait for the season to begin!

I would dare to say most of the flaming you would get would be from people like me.
Those that live in DFW, that are sick of Jerry Jones, his sham stadium, his thug players, and his astronomical ticket prices requiring a license to buy a ticket.
And that he hosting a Superbowl in 2011 in a city (Arlington) that has NO public transportation.

Now back in the Landry days, I'd be right there with you.
But it isn't about football or "the fans" anymore.
It is all about Jerry's ego and getting everyone else to pay for his Jerryworld stadium.

The Cardinals are the oldest franchise in the NFL. The franchise actually predates the NFL. They started as a pro team in 1899, playing in Chicago, as the Morgan Athletic Club. They were renamed the Cardinals in 1901. The team has moved twice. To St Louis, in 1960, and to Phoenix, in 1988 .

The Packers, did not become a team until 1919.*
