Slides interchangeable?

Are the slides and frames of the XD9 Service interchangable with those of the XD9 Tacticool?

Im guessing so because the frame is the same, its just the slide that is different.

Yes, I swap barrel/slide assemblies between my XD45 Tactical and XD45 Compact both work fine.

What about a 4 inch slide on a Subcompact frame (both same caliber)?

The frames are dimensionally different and not interchangeable. The service and tactical model use the same frame but not the subcompact. Unfortunately the difference is in the barrel lock up dimensions.
