Modify the sign from base commander to homeowner, and post on your front door.
Adding a "BTW, the guy living next door is not an NRA member" might help.

Another variant....
I was downtown the other day and got startle while walking next to a parked car on the sidewalk. Got right next to a parked beater before the 'alarm' (big German Shepherd with a LOUD bark even through closed windows) went off.
As I walked off I got to thinking that a funny stunt would be to park an old beater at the airport, have a big, angry, LOUD dog inside with a ripped open 50# bag of dog food, and put a poorly scribbled sign on the front dashboard that read "Offishul Airport Bidness." Discreetly set up a video camera some distance away and let the fun begin! |
