Yah, had a great mental image of that. Never hurts to have the real thing either!
 We have 2 big Goldens that know someone’s coming to the door before they get there, big dogs barking is a nice deterrent. I'm going to have to try the boot idea, that's great! |

I think we're already using that tactic, except my big bowl comes complete with a enormous black dog.

My Goldens have a nice nasty mean bark but it defeats the purpose when they are wagging their tails.

I have a beautiful Blue that is all business when it comes to strangers, but is great with kids. If we are with her, she is as mild mannered as can be though. She has run off numerous "Saturday morning door knockers" with her bark alone. I need to stick her a set of dog bowls outside now  . |

Same with mine, bark and growl sound mean but he's really just an good ol boy. If I knew how to post photos on the message I would include that too. Maybe someone can PM me on how to put photos on these messages?
