I think you did an excellent job at handling the situation, even though sometimes it would be nice to scare the crap out of someone who acts like that with a gun in their face, hopefully they would think twice about doing it again. But there is no telling where the situation would have went from there and the thought of the legal fees and possible prison time would have not made up for it. especially having a kid to love on.

yea, i would have to agree to this. Letting him get close to the vechile with loved ones IN the vechile is a bad idea, in my opionion. Of course it depends on you state laws, but then again with you wife and child in the car stopping a threat from getting close is not a bad move tactically.
