Nice. I was going to buy a XD in .357 SIG. I ended up getting a Beretta 92FS. I love the gun but I should of gotten the XD in .357 sig. They had one at Mcbrides (Austin, Texas) service model with Trijicon night sights for $586 brand new.

My wife wants a snub nose .38 but I am trying to talk her into getting the sc 9. What's your thoughts on recoil of the .38 vs sc 9?
By the way, nice gun. Did it come with all of those magazines or did you pick up an extra? My service model only came with 2. |

the kit is extra. 3 mags with pouch and case for $55. As far as recoil, there isnt much. I have the PF-9 that I carry and that has a wicked recoil.

From my experience the 9mm kicks much, much less than a 38. It was a pretty small .38 though, but it wasn't even one of the airweights. It was a normal small taurus.
