Burn him. False information spreads faster than a yeast infection. I would have just walked out of the store at that point.

Don't get mad- get justice. A letter to the owner of the store and a cc to the 2 gun manufacturers will cause both them to bang on the store manager's head, and then on the sales-clown's head.

Go back in and tell that sales guy to get his manager, give SA a call (with manager on line) and ask them straight up. I would love to see his face when the SA rep tells him "Nope no recalls of any kind!"

You mean, CycloneNation, right?

Just kidding -- good work out of the Hawkeyes this year for winning the NCAA Wrestling Championships in convincing fashion! At least it's back in Iowa and not in Oklahoma or Minnesota!

I can imagine XD's aren't selling if this is what he tells people who show interest in the XD line. I have never heard of a recall on XD pistols.
You encountered the common species known as Smithanthropus Fanboyus, which possesses brain power comparable to a common sparrow.

M&P's do NOT outsell XD by a large margin. In fact, I don't believe they outsell XD at all. According to multiple sources I've seen, the XD actually outsells even Glock on the CIVILIAN U.S. market, though Glock obviously dominates law enforcement sales.

XD's continue to sell QUITE well throughout the country, which has created substantial concern amongst the "powers that be" at Glock and Smith.

There is NO recall involving XD handguns. There is NO problem with grip safeties sticking on XD handguns.

The claims of Smithanthropus Fanboyus can be summed up in one word---BULLS__T!

I'd say this is COMPLETE BS. We have thousands of users here on XDTalk, and in my year and a half here I have never seen anyone make a post, describing these "recall symptoms". Its bs.
