My buddy sucks.... bought an XD - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

So I walk into my buddies shop today, and one of the guys immediately says "hey come look at this", which I reply, "oh this can't be good."

so I stroll in to the office and he grabs up this little black case that says Springfield Armory. I said " no you didn't" he says "no, but Cliff did".

Of course I open it up, and there sits an XD 45ACP Service just as pretty as can be. He told me that one of his Marine customers needed money, and he bought it, NO STOLE it, for $300.00. I offered $350 on the spot, and he declined, but countered w/ $475. I said "nope, I can buy them new for $425. all day, and I am ordering one this week anyway."

SO he sucks, cause he stole it, and because he isn't a gun guy at all. Never shot one. I told him once he shoots this one, he will be a gun guy for sure.

I think the man laws say that he now owes you a keg of your favorite beer. Not even a shooter? Shoot! Make it two kegs then!

I was going to buy mine from my brother inlaw for $400, but then he decided he would sel it for $200 and call it my wedding present... sure beats a george forman grill!

That was sweet deal! And brand new to say the least.. Ouch! Hey, if some people cant keep their finances straight.. LOL!

One of our recently resigned deputies called me up and said she wanted to sell her XD-40, and would take 350. I took dibs on it.. Sad to say, I was going to pick it up on pay-day, but a new trainee came in with out a weapon. I asked him where his was.. he told me he ordered it from a local gun shop who is notoriously slower then frozen molasses. So, I handed the deal over to him. He was so excited! Reminded me of when I picked up my first XD! He kept talking to it all day, and wouldnt let go of it.. I figured that since I already had two, it wouldnt hurt to let new owner get a deal! He got the case, all the factory goodies and extra magazines to boot!
