Need concealed holster help XD-SC
My daily carry is a 9mm XD SC. Problem is that, now that it's summer, how can I better hide the XD SC?
I wear tighter shirts during the summer. Ideas? Hardwarz

No holster will hide a gun if your wearing tight clothes. Just have to be realistic. I just got my super tuck from crossbreed yesterday for my XD sc 9mm and by far it is the most comfortable holster I have owned and conceals with just a loose t-shirt. I still need to break it in but so far it is amazing. I think you will be happy with it.

how are you carrying it now? I am planning on using a crossbreed supertuck this summer. There is a forum devoted to Crossbreed Holsters in the Forum Sponsors & Commerce room. Check it out for reviews. I think I'll be able to conceal without printing through most of my t-shirts. Your lifestyle will determine how you can and can't carry. If you don't like that, then you have to change your lifestyle. Depending on your build you might could pocket carry. My brother-in-law sometimes carries his xd40sc in his front pocket without any printing during normal movement. The best I've found for me is IWB.

For the weekends, I finally got a Galco inside the waist band. It has to be broken in, but it definatly fits the jeans I have. I just didn't know if there was a holster out there that I should be looking at. Hardwarz

Here are some pictures of my XD9SC in a K&D Dakota Defender wearing a pretty tight black tee shirt and a medium loose blue tee shirt.
Unless I bend over to pick something up the XD9SC is pretty well concealed with the Dakota. I made a point not to blouse my clothes for best concealment for these pictures. I tried to move normally then freeze to snap the pictures. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Galco!!!
I have a XD40SC and just bought a galco in the waist band holster for it. The galco isnt very expensive and it has worked out very good so far with it. I can carry it with a t shirt on and you cant see it at all, just like the above pics from reeek ( great pics reeek)! There are a ton of great holsters out there I just didnt have the money to drop on a really good one right now and I think I paid around $30 for it! Goodluck!

You can see from these pics there is a sweat shield on the Dakota . . . I've since removed the Pearce Grip Extensions for the XD9SC.

I like the way the dakota looks I might pick one up and see how I like it. I'm also going to look into the pocket holster from desantis. Different situations call for different carry methods. One should be prepared for them all.
