For my wife's birthday I bought her a Kahr PM40 for her to carry in her purse (less bulky than her XD9SC) and Shun Elite bread knife to add to her cutlery collection. She was thrilled but told her dad I was the only man she knew that gives his wife a knife and a gun for a birthday gift

Hah! Now I don't feel so guilty. Sold a win. 94AE 30-30 couple of weeks ago and bought a xd .45 compact for my own birthday. I told my wife's friend that I really wanted a new .45 for my birthday hoping she would transfer the hint. She didn't but that didn't stop me from indulging myself. Got it at Bud's for 476 bucks, at the retail store in Ky. happy birthday to me, next Saturday!
