It has the same properties of removing all impurities.

I'll try to get more info on it, but since I my XD40 isn't SS I can't try it out myself
I am interested, even without owning a stainless XD. I just like learning about processes. I may be able to apply them at work someday too, so all resources are good!
I am almost sure it is a proprietary process, so I could only provide the finished product.

I don't mean to be harsh....but you have two posts (that should be one)and you are asking a question that has not only been answered hundreds of times, which you could see if you used the search function, but it's been answered in THIS THREAD. So yes, once again....SA does refinish guns that rust due to a poor finish. They do it under warranty. They pay for shipping.

Really...try reading at least some part of the threads you are going to participate in.

Well you may not mean to be harsh but you are. Considering I am new here and still learning my way around, hence the two posts, I think you would be better served offering help instead of lectures. I appreciate your information but if you want this site to grow I would suggest your trigger finger be a little slower and that you be a little more understanding concerning people who are obviously not as familiar with this site as you are.
Thanks.

Peace,
D.

I'm sorry if you thought I was harsh. I certainly did not mean to be. You should see some of the "USE THE SEARCH!!!" lectures given by others to new members. Believe me...I was NOT harsh at all by the standards of many. Heck, I was downright friendly compared to a lot of what I've seen.

You say I would be "better served offering help instead of lectures".....I thought I did help. I know I tried. I said that SA will repair/refinish on it's lifetime warranty and I told you the information was not only widely available, but available in this thread. This is probably the single most discussed issue on the entire web site - XD Rust.

Anyway, welcome to the forum and I am sure you will find your way around if you just feel your way through. The site is quite user friendly (as are most of the people).

Peace,
D.

Looks like Delija found someone else to pick on .
This is such a pointless thread.....why do we always feed the Rust Thread Monster?
