grip size

hello all
i am looking for a new gun for my son he is 9 and has been shooting at the range since he was 7.
my question is how large is the grip on the xd 9 compared to a glock, the 24/7 pro taurus fits perfect, but would rather have the xd9.
he loves my emp but to much money for his first 9mm.

My guess would be that an XD9sc would work well for him but unfortunately I have no experience with the Taurus 24/7. The grip angle and reach on the XD is very similar to the 1911 Colt which I would think is a lot like you Emp. The XD Service and Tactical may be a little heavy for a 9 year old. The sc is really amazingly accurate for a 3" barreled gun and very easy to shoot.

I personally like the grip on the XD better than the Taurus....

My brother shoots a 24/7 and he likes the grip but i still prefer that of the XD, as mentioned it mimicks that of a 1911.

The XD grip is much better then the glock, or block, because thats what the grip is like!!
