+1

I've got a G22 and XD 45 Service and I enjoy each of them equally as much.

+1000. This never ending XD vs. Glock debate is older than Mick Jager and Keith Richards combined. Many of us here, myself included own both Glocks and XD's. Each has it advantages and disadvantages but bottom line, both are exceptional weapons. I really couldn't care less which one is selling better no offense. Yesterday, I took both my G30 and my XD45c to the range and had a blast shooting both of them.

I think m9fan is yawning in that aviator above and rightfully so.

I have both, a G17 and a XD-9 SC. Both are reliable weapons and you really need to shoot them both to see which you like better or do what everyone else been suggesting - buy both!

Every forum I visit seems to have a "Us vs Glock" thread I bought an M&P .40 at Christmas and liked it until my son got his XD9 a few weeks ago. For some reason I can hold the XD steady and on target but I keep pulling the M&P down when I squeeze the trigger. I am going to try a Glock 34 on Monday at our fun shoot and see if I do better with that. If not I might have to trade in the M&P for an XD9. Before someone asks, we like variety, that's why I don't just go with an XD right away,

I had a glock 21, it shot well. but it was too big for my hand so i looked at the XD45 compact...held it once and never looked back. both are great weapons obviously, keep the xd and buy the glock, after a year, get rid of the one you havnt shot as much maybe..thats what I did.

Did the same 9mm, bought a glock and then my xd-9, now i only have xd's. just a preference.

I've got both... I'm happy! I went from the Dark side to the Dark side.

I personally like the xd better. I just like the feel of the grip, plus Ishoot it better.
