The mods were just doing you a favor by not letting you post that trade and make a big mistake.

Wow, in addition to 100 posts? I understand the reasoning there, but I read the forums a TON and hardly ever contribute, because I'm not knowledgable on this stuff, but consider myself an active member. That makes me less trusted, I guess? Seems like a poor way to judge someone's involvement in the forums, but I guess that's the only indicator we have.

I use to have glocks and i sold them the next day after i shot my first xd. Way more accurate, quicker target aquisition, more safety features, BETTER. Keep your xd or you will regret it.

I think it is a good policy. It helps reduce spam and unwanted things. Nobody should take it personally, cause it is treating everyone equally. IMHO Now back to the topic. Keep them both. You may need a hammer ( Glock) some day. OOPS did i say that out loud?

Nothing against glocks, because I think they are good guns, but you would probably eventually regret selling the XD.

Just be a post-whore to the never ending increase your post count thread. I'm a contributor to it but not recently. Just think only 96 more to go.... LOL

If you haven't shot a G17 or G19 I would see if you can rent one at the range before you trade. I would be shooting Glock if the grip angle and fit were better for me. You need to shoot what you are comfortable and best with. Ignore the XD vs Glock debate ect... You also might consider S&W M&P with interchangeable backstraps.

well...

I've shot all of them and used to own a G19. I like the XD but the weight difference is significant for CCW.

I don't mind my XD, but it is not any more accurate than Glocks I've shot.

I do like the grip angle on the XD a little better, which is why I want a G17/22. The 'hump' doesn't bother me. I got rid of my G19 b/c I didn't like the grip.

I will add that I don't contribute and post here because I prefer to read than post. It's not like 90% of the posts here have any real value. Overall things are very repetitive on any board. I guess I still have 90-some posts to go before I can post on the Classifieds section.

That's a little rediculous.

Anway, thanks for everyone's input and help.

And on the seventh day God said "Whoops! It should of been an XD!"

Glocks are for agencies that give away "loaner" guns. Xd's are for people who know the difference.

I used to carry a Glock 26 - small, compact, 9mm. Now I carry the XD45 Compact Tactical. I love it. It shoots much better than the Glock.

If weight is the issue than maybe you ought to invest in a S&W 642
Product: Model 642 Revolver
